Sexual predators PSA

I am glad that we all group members work together efficiently. The lay-out were made by me. I used photoshop to design the poster. I am thankful for two of my friends who volunteer to be my models in the lay-out. Hope I can do better and better in the future.

5.Does it make the readers think? In what way? Yes, it does. This ad makes the readers think that whether they make the same mistake as the model did on the print ad or not. The blood spread on the model shows that people kill animals for getting the fur to make fur products such as clothes. It arouse the readers' sympathy and mercy toward these animals.

Reflection:
It was a challenge for me to make an e-zine, for I was responsible for the lay-out. I didn't know how to design and  how to edit at first, but after I searched for many helps, I spent almost 12 hours to finish the lay-out. Although I felt frustrated during the process of doing the lay-out, I believed that I could make it eventually. I was thankful for those who has helped me with the e-zine, including my friends and my family. They taught me, encouraged me and supported me when I felt depressed. It was a good experience for me to try something new or challenging. Also, through doing the e-zine, I made two new friends, and I realize that cooperating in a team or group is important. We should support and help each other to make the team work perfect. Anyway, I really learned a lot from the e-zine.  =)

My Lovely Pet "Ciou Ciou"

I had kept many pets, especially hamsters. Since I was 10 years old, I had been keeping about 10 hamsters. Although they had short lives, I would not forget how much I loved each of them. From birth to death, I experienced a lot of sorrow and joy.

This picture was taken by me. I called my pet “Ciou Ciou”, and she was three months old at that time. The difference between other hamsters was that I did not buy her in the pet store. It was my brother that brought her home one day. I was surprised and excited to see this cute girl. She was only one month old when she came to my home. I cannot even hold her in my hand because she was too small.

Everything went smoothly until one day she got sick. Ciou was about two years old at that time. One day morning, I found that she was not as active as before. She lay on her bed and had a bad appetite. I thought that maybe she just felt tired and needed more break. But everything got worse and worse. She became weaker and thinner. After I took her to the veterinarian, she was diagnosed with cancer. I could not accept that at first, however, I eventually chose to face it and to take care of her life because she was my responsibility.

Although Ciou finally passed away, I would remember her forever. She let me learn that how to take care of a hamster more carefully, and that she was not only a mouse but one of my family. I finally realized that keeping a pet was not easy, because pets were not equal to animals. Not just feeding but taking care of them was necessary. The difference between pets and animals was “love”. I loved Ciou Ciou, and I did not regret keeping her to be my pet.
